Job Description: Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Room (ER)? We are currently hiring for night shift positions in California on a 13-week contract basis, offering guaranteed hours of 36 per week. As an ER Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in need of urgent medical attention. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate continuity of care and promote patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an RN in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Contract Details:

• 13-week contract with the possibility of extension.
• Night shift schedule.
